Gamle slitte og ødelagte tekstiler blir sydd om til tepper og diverse. Her er et lappeteppe som er satt sammen av forskjellige stoffer og pyntet med kanten fra et laken elller en duk. Flott sammen ikke sant?
Red is popular colour in France – very often red is combined with grey. This combination is really stating to grow on me – and I see that I now have a tendency to look at red details. At home I am not a “red” person at all – but here it seems to be an appropriate colour. The pictures are taken in a local Brocante – in the village of Millas. The shop is really an oasis, with acceptable prices and lots of small items that can fit into your suitcase as well. Usually French antique and brocante shops are not regularly cleaned. Things can be so dirty that you sometimes do not even see what colour it is. This shop – called The Grenier de Millas – is nice and cosy, clean and well organized. Look at all the red items – aren’t they just lovely?
